Tonnie Wybensinger

Tonnie Wybensinger is a political professional with deep experience in issue advocacy, reputation management, and in winning elections. Tonnie came to Washington and began her career in the Capitol Hill office of then-Rep. Pat Toomey (R-PA). She returned to the Hill in 2013 as the Staff Director and principal legislative advisor to Ranking Member Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) on the U.S. Senate Banking Committee

Tonnie most recently served as Vice President, Government Affairs for the Financial Services Roundtable, where she strengthened relationships between business, non-profits, and policymakers and helped rebuild the organization's bipartisan influence. Before rejoining Senator Toomey, Tonnie was Director of Government Affairs and Financial Services Policy for the Investment Company Institute (ICI), the mutual fund industry's leading trade association.

Before Joining the ICI, Tonnie served as Chief of Staff to three members of the House Financial Services Committee including Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL), where she previously was Legislative Director, Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) and Rep. Bill Posey (R-FL).

Tonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the Ohio State University and has earned a certificate in Reputation Management from Dartmouth University's Tuck School of Business.
